Brown Lagotto Romagnolo Young Dog

Virgilio is a Lagotto Romagnolo, the son of Caronte del Cavatore, a dog of outstanding ability in truffle hunting, and Pompea.

He was introduced to truffle hunting through a few basic training sessions. However, his training was relatively limited and did not allow him to develop any particular skills in this field, where he has not demonstrated significant results. His most interesting qualities lie instead in his temperament and his ability to bond with people.

Virgilio is an exceptionally gentle, well-balanced and affectionate dog. He enjoys human contact and cuddles, but without being intrusive or constantly seeking attention. He has a good sense of independence and is comfortable spending time on his own: he can wait patiently, relax by himself and respect the family's daily routines.

He gets along peacefully with other male dogs, maintaining harmonious relationships without showing any tendency towards conflict. He is also not particularly prone to barking, a quality that makes him a quiet and pleasant companion in everyday life.

Thanks to his gentle temperament, calm nature and natural inclination to bond with people, Virgilio is particularly well suited to life as a family companion. He could also fit very well into a family with children, provided that interactions are always based on mutual respect and that appropriate care is taken to manage shared spaces and interactions.

Virgilio is the ideal companion for anyone looking for a sweet, sociable and affectionate Lagotto, a dog who can fully enjoy family life without ever being overly demanding or dependent on constant human presence.
